This training offers an introduction to implicit bias within the healthcare setting. Participants will understand the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion and the importance of mitigating bias in order to harness the power of diversity. Bias is seen as a pervasive and automatic process, therefore, the goal is not to get rid of our biases, but to become aware of their activation. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies to reduce bias and commit to using one in future interactions.
CME Credit available upon completion
Bonus: Newly revised AAFP Opioid Tool Kit will be provided to all attendees.
